On Sept. 21, the Los Angeles LGBT Center will host the Gold Anniversary Vanguard Celebration at the Greek Theatre.

The evening will start with a dinner for friends and supporters, followed by a star-studded concert and multimedia show commemorating a half century of struggles and historic victories of the center and the entire LGBT community, including inspirational remarks by CEO Lorri Jean.

The two-hour concert will include scenes from the center’s history with stories of center clients, volunteers and supporters projected on numerous screens throughout the venue, creating a truly immersive experience.

Currently confirmed performers include Rufus Wainwright, LGBT country star Ty Herndon, Lily Tomlin and a special appearance by Lee Daniels, with more stars to be announced.
