Los Angeles City Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, 13th District, will hold the next installment of his Councilmember in Your Corner series on Saturday, June 29, at 9:30 a.m. in East Hollywood.

The festivities start at the new Madison Avenue Community Garden and Park, 1171 N. Madison Ave. In addition to going door-to-door to distribute  information on city services, participants will join a community cleanup project.

Community partners from Youth Policy Institute, the LAPD and the Department of Recreation & Parks and other organizations will attend. A celebration for the new garden and park will be held at 11 a.m. For information, visit cd13.lacity.org.
