TAG Gallery presents three new exhibits by artists Elyse Wyman, Karen Hochman Brown and Lyle Rushing running concurrently through Sunday, July 7.
Wyman’s exhibit, “Disintegrating,” uses altered photographs of President Donald J. Trump from television to illustrate the disconnect and divide that currently exists in the United States. The exhibit considers ways people can reconcile and come together in unity.
“Anonymous@theBeach,” a solo exhibition by Hochman Brown, features digitally synthesized artwork and animation. Hochman Brown is a photography-based digital artist and the exhibition includes framed printouts of her imagery. The exhibition also includes an interactive installation reflecting on social media. Props enable patrons to create and post selfies that ensure anonymity.
Rushing’s “Glints and Gleams,” a solo exhibition of the artist’s newest paintings, celebrates the universality of common human experiences. It provides an uplifting experience by creating a space for dialogue between viewers.
TAG is located at 5458 Wilshire Blvd. For information, call (310)829-9556, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit taggallery.net.
