Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel R. Moore and command staff from the department’s Operations West Bureau conducted a formal inspection of personnel from the Hollywood Division on May 22. The inspections are a longstanding tradition in the department and it was the first for the Hollywood Division since Moore was appointed chief of police last June. In addition to officers and detectives, the inspection involved the station’s command staff including Capt. Cory Palka, commanding officer of the Hollywood Division, and Capt. Steven Lurie, commanding officer of patrol operations. Los Angeles City Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, 13th District, also attended.
