Students are advised to RSVP for a chance to have free headshots taken.
The first workshop, which will be held at 10 a.m., is titled Applying & Paying for College. It will focus on what college admissions staff are looking for in applications and what options are available to fund a college education.
The second workshop, to be held at 11 a.m. for parents, guardians and educators only, is titled College Financing for Parents of Artists and offers an overview of paying for higher education, including scholarships and financial aid, as well as school and degree options.
Also at 11 a.m., a third workshop for students only will focus on careers in theater and the performing arts. A final workshop at 1:30 p.m. for students, parents, guardians and educators is titled “Making a Living in the Arts.” It will focus on how to find jobs in the arts and what career options are available.
