The Ebell of Los Angeles welcomes Kelli Tennant, former host of television programs for the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers and a current podcast host, for a luncheon discussion on Monday, April 1, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Tennant founded the Platform Podcast, a forum to educate and empower women on health and wellness issues. She will discuss her discovery of a holistic lifestyle, improved health and her new career. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.
Additionally, the Ebell of Los Angeles is holding a workshop on intergenerational conversations on Thursday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to noon. A panel of experts will discuss retirement, estate planning and finances. The cost is $10 for Ebell members, $20 for nonmembers.
On Monday, April 29, at 11:30 a.m., James and Deborah Fallows will describe their new book, “Our Towns: A 100,000-Mile Journey Into the Heart of America,” during a luncheon at the Ebell of Los Angeles. The New York Times best-seller is the basis of an HBO documentary. Fallows, who once served as chief speechwriter for President Jimmy Carter, writes for The Atlantic and has reported extensively from outside the United States. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.
