A 55-year-old defendant pleaded no contest on Feb. 5 to possessing and distributing child pornography online, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Carlos Enrique Castillo, of Los Angeles, pleaded no contest to five felony counts of distribution of obscene matter and one felony count of possession of over 600 images of child or youth pornography. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 28. Castillo faces eight years and four months in state prison.
