Celebrate the city’s diverse culinary scene with exclusive tasting menus at some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. From Jan. 11 to 25, visitors and locals can enjoy specially priced menus from $15 to $35 for lunch and dinner menus priced from $29 to $59. The dineL.A. Exclusive Series, sponsored by American Express, offers diners a chance to enjoy some of the city’s most luxurious restaurants with dinners starting at $99. Hundreds of restaurants are participating including Providence, Mélisse, Scratch Bar & Kitchen, Spago Beverly Hills and The Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse, and newcomers APL Restaurant and Tesse. American Airlines has partnered with dineL.A. to offer a new Instagram sweepstakes, called Hunt for 50K. Fig & Olive
Enjoy a $25 two-course lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or a $49 three-course dinner from 4 p.m. to closing at Fig & Olive. There are plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options, including paella noir, wild mushroom rigatoni and a mushroom croquette. Jaffa
The Israeli restaurant will offer a $20 two-course lunch featuring a salatim sampler and shawarma wrap or grain bowl with a choice of eggplant, spiced beef, spiced Jidori chicken or spiced organic salmon from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dineL.A. dinner is $39 and features lamb couscous, roast chicken, beef brisket, hamshuka or salmon. Dessert includes a halva plate with local market fruit. This special dinner menu is available from 5 p.m. to closing during the week, and from 4 p.m. to closing on Saturday and Sunday. 8048 W. Gracias Madre
Start your $25 dineL.A. lunch with guacamole and tortillas and a choice of a purista margarita, iced hibiscus tea or almond horchata. Entrées include gorditas with salsa verde and flautas de camote with sweet potato and cashew nacho cheese. Desserts include Mexican wedding cookies or a fudge brownie. This menu is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the evening, savory items include crab cakes, sopes con mango and Gracias Madre’s chopped salad. Dine at Beverly Hills’ poolside gem of a restaurant for executive chef Michael Reed’s $35 dineL.A. lunch and $49 dinner menus. Chao Krung
For $15, order executive chef Amanda Kuntee’s lunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or for $29, her dinner menu from 5 to 11 p.m. at Chao Krung. Los Angeles’ second oldest Thai restaurant will offer a glass of either Thai iced tea or Thai egg custard for lunch, or a glass of red wine, white wine or Thai beer for dinner.
