Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer has launched a new weekly series of Saturday morning video chats titled “Message from Mike.”

The unscripted weekly addresses will focus on many issues significantly affecting the city. The first “Message from Mike” offered a personal story about a homeless woman who formerly lived on Feuer’s block and her journey to becoming housed and starting a new life. Feuer also discussed initiatives his office has spearheaded to tackle the homeless crisis, and urged residents to join in finding solutions.

“These messages are designed to speak directly to L.A. residents about ways to tackle our most pressing challenges,” Feuer said. “In the coming weeks, I’ll be talking about school safety, environmental protection, criminal justice reform, privacy in a digital age, taking on blight and problem properties, and more.”

“Message from Mike” will be posted each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on the city attorney website, lacityattorney.org.
