The variety show “Live from Here with Chris Thile,” featuring its unique blend of musical performances, comedy and audience interaction, comes to The Wiltern on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.

Thile, an acclaimed musician and songwriter, welcomes a wide range of well-known and up-and-coming talent to the stage for the tour of the weekly live public radio performance formerly known as “A Prairie Home Companion.” The evening’s lineup of guests at The Wiltern will include singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Andrew Bird, and comedian Sarah Silverman.
Over the past two years, Thile has brought his eclectic mix of music and guests to “Live from Here.” This year, he’s added new talent to the mix with a focus on providing an even better experience for live and radio listeners of the show, which has increased its listenership among young listeners, ages 18-44, including a 22 percent gain for those ages 25-34.
“Live from Here” is produced by American Public Media.
