Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Jan. 19 at the Hancock Park residence of boxer Manny Pacquiao.

LAPD spokesman Tony Im said Olympic Division officers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence in the 500 block of N. Plymouth Boulevard at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 19. The burglary occurred while Pacquiao was in Las Vegas for a fight that he won against welterweight Adrien Broner.

“Unidentified suspects entered and ransacked the residence, took property and fled,” Im said.

Police did not disclose what was stolen and no suspects have been identified or arrested. The case is being investigated by the LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division because it involves a celebrity.

“I cannot say he was specifically targeted,” said Lt. Francis Boateng, of the Commercial Crimes Division. “Our investigators were there for eight hours trying to gather leads. We believe in a week or so we will have some more information on leads.”

Boateng did not know whether the break-in is connected with any other recent burglaries at celebrities’ homes. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (213)486-5920.
