The Cancer Support Community Los Angeles hosted its annual Gilda Award Gala on Nov. 9, to benefit free counseling, psychosocial and support services provided to cancer patients and their families.

The evening honored director Lisa D’Apolito with the Gilda Award: Legacy Champion, multiple Emmy-nominated and SAG Award-winning actress Sharon Lawrence with the Gilda Award: Community Champion, and Dr. David Wellisch with the Harold H. Benjamin Innovation Award. Emmy-nominated actress and breast cancer survivor Mindy Sterling served as master of ceremonies. The gala was named for the late comedienne Gilda Radner. CSCLA was founded on the belief that no one should face cancer alone.
