Paella and art at Bar Garcia
Tonight, Sept. 20, Bar Garcia will host an art party and serve paella made by chef Juan Pablo Torre. Enjoy live music at this free celebration as the artist Chadwick will host a live art session at 10 p.m. Bar Garcia’s rotating art series showcases local artists’ custom installations, blurring the line between gallery and restaurant. Rooftop movie and pool party at NoMad

On Sept. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Central Hollywood Coalition presents the seventh annual Hollywood food festival Sunset & Dine. Ticket holders can enjoy food, wine and beer from more than 20 restaurants located near the famed intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street. Favorites include small bites from Wood & Vine, CB Bistro, Banh Oui, Duidough Café & Cookie Lab, Bibibop Asian Grill, Loteria Grill and Urban Masala. Tickets are $40 and include food, beverage and entertainment curated by Amoeba Music. Children under 12 can attend free with a paid adult ticket. Yoga and mimosas at La Peer Hotel
Take a break and unwind with the conclusion of the Yoga Wake Up rooftop summer series on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. The class, led by Dana Kraft, is free for hotel guests and $25 for locals to participate, but is limited to 25 people. New chef special at JINYA Ramen Bar
Chef and founder Tomonori Takahashi has created the Goku Midnight Cowboy, a new special that combines the flavors of classic Southern barbecue with Japan’s signature tonkotsu ramen.
