Police are seeking information about a male suspect responsible for a series of armed robberies that occurred in early August in Hollywood, West Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley.

Detectives believe the suspect is responsible for four Subway robberies in the San Fernando Valley and three liquor store robberies in Hollywood, West Hollywood and other locations over a two-day period.
On Aug. 5, the suspect entered a liquor store in the 4000 block of Fulton Avenue. The suspect asked to see a bottle of liquor from behind the counter. When the clerk gave the suspect the liquor, he ran from the store with the bottle. On Aug. 6, the suspect committed five armed robberies in Hollywood, West Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. The businesses were in the 7000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, 1700 block of N. Highland Ave., 4000 and 8000 blocks of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, 4000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, 13000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, 4000 block of Fulton Avenue, and the 12000 and 13000 blocks of Burbank Boulevard.
Detectives have released videos of some of the crimes. The suspect is described as white or possibly Armenian, 20-25 years old, 5 feet 10 to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160-170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect used a grey semi-automatic handgun to commit the robberies.
