Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre presents a special return engagement of Disney/Pixar’s “Coco” shown in Dolby VisionTM Laser Projection and Dolby Atmos Sound Technology from Sept. 27 to Oct. 7.

In “Coco,” despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events.

“We are very pleased to be bringing back Disney/Pixar’s ‘Coco’ – one of the most beloved films to have played our theater,” said Ed Collins, general manager of the El Capitan Theatre. “And as a special treat, the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas will perform live on stage with Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles Sept. 27-30 and Oct. 6-7 as guests enter – just as they did a year ago during the premiere engagement of the film here.”

Prior to every showing of “coco,” guests can dance and sing along to music videos by Disney Junior’s Vampirina and The Ghoul Girls and take pictures in front of the Vampirina photo booth.

Showtimes for “Coco” begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27. From Sept. 28 to Oct. 7, daily screenings are at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
