Executive chef Seth Greenburg is a Los Angeles native with years of experience cooking in Michelin-starred restaurants including L’Orangerie in Los Angeles and Cuisine Francais in Chicago, as well as Dakota Restaurant in the Roosevelt Hotel and The Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica.
Since the restaurant’s opening two years ago, Greenburg has added new menu items, such as cheese fondue. This shareable dish arrives on a wood plank with a warming pot filled with a creamy cheese combination of Swiss Gruyère and Emmental that offers a savory sweetness when dipped with the accompanying apple and a touch of saltiness with the pretzel bread.
The watermelon and cucumber salad is a new addition as well – and delicious too. Crisp cucumbers are pickled in herb vinaigrette and tossed with bright cubes of red and yellow watermelon. Small heirloom tomatoes sliced in half and a few shakes of chili salt give this refreshing salad a zippy finish.
For another light option, try the mezze plate with hummus, dill labneh (a Greek yogurt similar to cream cheese), marinated cucumber salad and warm pita triangles.

The porcupine cocktail pairs well with the menu’s appetizers, adding a fiery kick in between bites. This margarita-style drink, made with serrano chili-infused tequila, citrus agave, basil and cucumber, pulls out all the stops with a flaming alcohol-infused lime slice for a touch of excitement.
For entrées, the steak and noodle salad fuses Thai flavors with perfectly cooked slices of grilled flat iron steak, long noodles, a julienne of jicama and carrots, Thai basil and mint, a little coconut, chopped peanuts, candied ginger and sweet chili dressing. The halibut, which comes beautifully wrapped in parchment, is served with local vegetables and potatoes. A dill butter sauce tops off this dish with warm, savory flavors.
To round out the meal, try the Harry’s Berries strawberry rhubarb shortcake, featuring a sprinkle of crushed pink peppercorn and whipped mascarpone in between a sour cream biscuit. It’s delectable.
