‘Monster Jam’ hosts vision screening ahead of big competition

“Monster Jam” is revving its way to downtown Los Angeles with a new, action-packed show on Friday, Aug. 17, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 18, at 1 and 7 p.m., at Staples Center.
The show features eight drivers performing in the “Monster Jam Triple Threat Series,” a points-based format with seven different competitions. They include 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks, Monster Jam speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs.
Just in time for back to school, “Monster Jam” and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood on Aug. 7 to offer free vision screenings for club members.
