Imagine LA held a back-to-school event on Saturday, Aug 11.

Working with Oasis Church and Alexandria House, the organization hosted 150 kids and parents at Oasis’ indoor/outdoor space in Koreatown. Most attendees were families who have been homeless and many are currently in Imagine LA’s program.

Volunteers from Beauty Board gave the kids haircuts and manicures, backpacks stuffed with school supplies from the L.A. Works event earlier that day were distributed, and there was face-painting and playing.
