Belmont Village Senior Living communities are participating in the Longest Day fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

On June 21 – the summer solstice and the longest day of the year – each Belmont Village community will collect $1 donations and create a “linked by love” paper heart chain to honor those fighting Alzheimer’s disease. Belmont Village will also host fun activities to encourage further donations. The fundraisers are open to the public; RSVP is suggested.

Belmont Village Hollywood, 2051 N. Highland Ave., will host events from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 21. Participants can receive 15-20 minute massages by Massage Envy for a $20 donation. To make a reservation, call (323)874-7711 or email Sandra Baker at sbaker@belmontvillage.com.

Belmont Village Westwood, 10475 Wilshire Blvd., is , hosting a walkathon in one-hour sessions from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 21. A minimum donation of $5 is requested. RSVP by calling the concierge at (310)234-3044.
