Authorities are investigating the death of man in West Hollywood on June 18 as a possible suicide.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station were summoned to an alley in the 1100 block of Hacienda Place at approximately 6:45 a.m. to check on a man who was unconscious. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s department opened an investigation and is waiting for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office to determine cause of death. Coroner’s office spokesman Ed Winter identified the man as Adrian Barritt Nobert, 25, a resident of West Hollywood. Winter said the suspect is believed to have jumped from a third story window in his apartment, but the case remains under investigation pending toxicology tests. A final determination could take days to weeks.
