West Hollywood has extended the deadline for its Youth Scholarship Program to Monday, May 7.

The program awards $1,500 scholarships to West Hollywood high school seniors who will graduate this year and plan to pursue post-secondary education. The program requires proof of West Hollywood residency, acceptance to post-secondary institution, and 150 hours of community service.

The Youth Scholarship Program was initiated by the West Hollywood City Council in 2007 and has awarded 38 scholarships. For more information, visit weho.org.
