A 47-year-old man who authorities described as a transient was charged on April 6 with vandalizing two cars in Beverly Hills.

Paul Francis Floyd, 47, faces one felony count of vandalism with over $400 in damages and one misdemeanor count each of vandalism under $400, cruelty to a child by endangering health, and battery.

On April 4, Floyd allegedly kicked and damaged the grill of a Lexus in the 400 block of North Bedford Drive. The defendant then allegedly jumped on top of the hood of a parked Mercedes Benz owned by actress Jaime King while her 4-year-old son and a woman caring for the boy were inside. King is known for a role in the film “Sin City.”

Floyd allegedly broke the front and rear windows of the Mercedes Benz and then threw a beer can at the woman caring for the child. Police responded to a 911 call and arrested Floyd.

The defendant faces five years in jail. Prosecutors requested bail be set at $40,000. The case remains under investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
