The co-ed Summer Session for young men and women entering the sixth through 12th grades can be academic, sports-driven or science-filled, but above all, it’s fun. The five-week session features courses in athletics, academics, broadcasting, performing arts and technology. New offerings for younger students include lacrosse, DJ lessons and financial literacy. For high school students, courses include a college research workshop, introduction to AP calculus and the advanced Loyola Leadership Lab. Past student favorites such as School of Rock and CSI Loyola are returning, as are many other courses.
Students can delve into academic study or enjoy physical activity in a relaxed social atmosphere, engage in unique and experiential learning opportunities, and develop co-curricular skills. The more than 70 course offerings also include classes in English, general interest, mathematics, fine arts, classical and foreign languages, performing arts, science, social sciences and study skills.
Online registration must be completed by May 23. Most fees are $495 per class. Late registration is available from May 24-June 20, with an additional $50 processing fee per class.
