Sony Pictures Entertainment and 60out Escape Rooms opened the much anticipated escape room, “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” to the public on March 29.
Customers were able to start booking on March 27. which coincided with the worldwide release of the film on Blu-ray and DVD.

The story unfolds when players receive a group text from a friend inviting them to play the Jumanji game with him. After entering the room, and finding out he’s not there and the room is in disarray, they turn on a game console, select their characters and get sucked into the world of Jumanji. Upon entering the jungle, where their friend is being held captive, they must embrace their roles in the world of Jumanji and return the emerald eye to the sacred Jaguar monument within 60 minutes.
“The ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ escape room is an unforgettable and fun experience that takes the escape room genre to another level. The escape room truly captures the essence of the film and gives fans a chance to experience what it’s like to be inside the world of Jumanji,” said Jamie Stevens, executive vice president of Sony Pictures Entertainment Worldwide Consumer Products.
Home to Los Angeles’ most popular escape rooms, 60out presents unique and interactive live-action adventure games. The company was voted Best Set Design (2016) and Top 10 Escape Rooms (2017) by Forbes Magazine and USA Today, respectively. Today, 60out has five locations and 15 rooms in the Los Angeles area with seven new rooms and two new sites opening in the next six months.

The escape room requires four to eight players.
