Afer hosting a successful Greater Wilshire Miracle Mile Chamber of Commerce luncheon last week, James Beard Award-winning chef Dominique Ansel, inventor of the Cronut, will transform his restaurant, 189 by Dominique Ansel, into Dom’s Burgers today and Friday, March 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Order one of four types of burgers including the signature ground chuck and short rib, tender ground lamb, crunchy fried chicken, and blackened sweet potato and quinoa burger. Burgers come with hand-cut, herbed french fries for $15. They also offer beer and freshly roasted nuts, homemade horchata, melon-mint and mango-passion fruit popsicles. Try all of the different flavors of just-baked cookies, plus choose from three types of lemonades, or make your own lemonade. The outdoor setting is complete with turf, lounges and picnic blankets.
