The Ebell of Los Angeles welcomes Eva Katz Brettler, who will share her story of survival during World War II on Monday, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. during a luncheon in observance of Holocaust Remembrance Day.
At 7 years old, Brettler was captured by the Nazis and worked in a brick factory. She was later sent to Nazi concentration camps. The camp in which she was held captive was liberated in March 1945.
The program will include a brief business meeting to announce candidates for board positions, including president. The Ebell of Los Angeles is located at 731 S. Lucerne Blvd.
