For the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 4, the Los Angeles Department of Ttansportation will begin to strictly enforce the restricted no-parking policy.

This will include the citing and impounding of vehicles parked on these temporary restricted no-parking streets. Vehicles parked on the following streets will be towed to the official police garage, Hollywood Tow located at 1015 N. Mansfield Ave. in Hollywood, when cited by LADOT.

Motorists are advised to check the official police garages website, opglaviic.com, to find their vehicle. Alternatively, they may call 311 or Hollywood Tow, (323)466-8583, to find information on how to recover their vehicles.

LADOT, which is dedicated to moving Los Angeles forward as quickly and safely as possible, also operates transit bus services. Drivers, bus riders, bicyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to visit ladot.lacity.org for information about DASH, Commuter Express, bicycling in the city of Los Angeles and an array of transportation services.

Area commuters can visit trafficinfo.lacity.org, for real-time traffic and parking facilities information.

To accommodate the construction of press risers, fan bleachers and pre-show stages along the red carpet, Hollywood Boulevard will be closed between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive the week leading up to the ceremony, and will remain closed until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7.

Metro subway trains will bypass the Hollywood and Highland station after the last regularly scheduled train on Saturday, March 3, until 6 a.m. Monday, March 5. Details of the closures and maps of affected areas are at oscars.org/closures.
