On Tuesday, Jan. 23, TAG Gallery will open the new exhibition “Road Trip,” featuring the work of Anne M. Bray.
Bray’s exhibition takes the viewer out to the wide-open, uninhabited spaces of the American highway. In this selection of pastel paintings, the artist depicts vistas that she experienced on various solo drives crossing the continent. An aura of serenity permeates the work, opening windows for contemplation.
Established in 1993 as a nonprofit, TAG Gallery is a member-owned community of 40 artists. Through the physical gallery in Miracle Mile as well as lectures from exhibiting and visiting artists, the organization has become a valuable resource for launching the careers of both emerging and mid-career artists based in the greater Los Angeles area.
The TAG Gallery is located at 5458 Wilshire Blvd. For information, visit taggallery.net.
