Located in the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the ultimate Thanksgiving buffet is on Thursday, Nov. 23, for $129 per person. Thanksgiving at Clifton’s Republic
Since 1935 Clifton’s has been serving a classic Thanksgiving feast. The historic multi-story dining hall is offering a special holiday meal on Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Executive Chef Andrew Pastore prepares an all-you-can-eat cornucopia buffet for $55 per person, including all non-alcoholic fountain beverages. Classic trimmings such as mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, roasted vegetables, and mac and cheese are available à la carte. Cocktail ambassador Beau du Bois will serve a sparkling cider punch cocktail called Turkey Day Punch. It’s made with apple cider, prosecco, brandy, orange, cranberry, cinnamon and apricot. Fundraiser at Gracias Madre
Benefiting the earthquake relief in Oaxaca, Gracias Madre is having a “Gracias Por Oaxaca Thanksgiving Fundraiser” on Thursday, Nov. 23, from 1 to 5 p.m. In partnership with Guelaguetza restaurant, Gracias Madre offers diners a complete vegan Mexican-inspired Thanksgiving meal. All proceeds will be donated to the organization Por Oaxaca. A $25 donation is suggested. This will help bring provisional housing to the indigenous communities affected by the Sept. 7 earthquake in Mexico. Guests can enjoy butternut squash tamale with cranberry habanero sauce, a fall salad, rice pilaf and pumpkin cheesecake. Be sure to pair the meal with a cranberry margarita.
