The cause of a fire that erupted in heavy brush on a hillside near Lake Hollywood on Nov. 25 remains under investigation.
The fire was reported at approximately noon last Saturday on steep terrain in an area between Lake Hollywood Drive and Tahoe Place. The site is in the Hollywood Hills, east of the Hollywood (101) Freeway and west of the Hollywood Sign.
Approximately 50 Los Angeles Fire Department personnel battled the blaze and contained it to one quarter of an acre. There was no wind, which helped firefighters contain the fire. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
