The site of the 112-year-old club – a Historic Cultural Monument – previously housed the Hollywood School for Girls, where Jean Harlow, Carole Lombard and even Douglas Fairbanks Jr. attended. It is still used for movie and T.V. filming.
Clips of memorable fashion moments from 1950s and ’60s movie classics included “Some Like It Hot,” “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Designing Women” and “Sex and the Single Girl.”
Featured will be current fashion highlights from Halo Mimi, which offers Bohemian glamour with custom hat services, and ready-to-wear women’s clothing and accessories, and from Etcetera, which creates diverse collections that keep up with runway trends with the support of trained stylists.
