The Los Angeles Unified School District is launching the first phase of its Unified Enrollment system, enabling families to use a single application to apply for dual-language and bilingual programs, as well as an expanded number of magnet schools.

Applications will be accepted from Oct. 2 through Nov. 9 for 260 magnet schools, more than 100 dual language program and permits with transportation schools.

Families who previously had to register for dual language/bilingual programs at individual school sites can use the new application, which is included in the Choices program brochure. It will also be available beginning on Friday, Sept. 29 by visiting apply.lausd.net.

“This is an important first step in creating a one-stop site where families can learn about the options available to them and then easily apply,” said LAUSD Superintendent Michelle King. “We remain committed to expanding and enhancing this system to better serve the students and parents of L.A. Unified.”
