The East Hollywood Certified Farmers’ Market on Sept. 18 launched new operating hours on Mondays from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Western station plaza. The farmers market is located at the western edge of Thai Town at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue. Fresh, locally grown, certified produce and prepared foods are offered. A project of the Thai Community Development Center, the market has been in operation since 2012. It is now open on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Prepared food booths feature El Salvadoran specialties and beverages from Delmy’s Pupusas, and Korean fusion bowls from Seoul Bowl.
