The Assyrian American Association of Southern California (AAASC) will host a memorial commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the 1915 genocide against the Assyrian, Armenian and Greek peoples on Monday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. at the AAASC headquarters at 5901 Cahuenga Blvd., North Hollywood.

The ceremony, titled “Remember the Fallen, Empower the Future,” will feature local, state and federal officials. Assyrian Martyr’s Day is observed on Aug. 7. For information, visit aaaofsc.org.
