The Music Center presents its “Dance Downtown: Disco” event on Friday, Aug. 4 from 7 to 11 p.m. in Grand Park.

Participants are encouraged to break out their bell bottom jeans and wide collar shirts and enjoy an open-air dance floor and music by DJ One in a Million. Dance instructor Andy Vaca will provide lessons for people of all skill levels.

“Dance Downtown” is part of The Music Center’s ongoing series offering dancing under the stars at locations throughout Grand Park. Picnicking is encouraged at the free event open to all ages. Food, soft drinks and cocktails will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted in the park, located at 200 N. Grand Ave. For information, visit musiccenter.org/dancedtla.
