The BMW 540i hero car from the action-packed production “The Hire” will be on view until Aug. 7 at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

In 2001, BMW Films produced “The Hire,” a series of eight short films helmed by renowned Hollywood directors and starring Clive Owen as “The Driver.” The Petersen will have the vehicle on view in the Cars of Film and Television exhibit on the third floor.
