The Gabriella Foundation is hosting its annual Gabri Awards Gala on Sunday, June 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Paramount Picture Studios.

The Foundation is honoring Andrew Kin and the Connie Kin Memorial Fund. The Gala celebrates 17 years of The Gabriella Foundation transforming the lives of Los Angeles youth through dance, and 12 years of education excellence through the Gabriella Charter School.

The gala will feature performances by students from the “Everybody Dance!” after-school program and company, the Gabriella Charter School and a work commissioned by Versa-Style Dance Company. Awards will be presented by the Foundation’s founder, Liza Bercovici.

Andrew Kin established a fund for his late wife, Connie Kin, who was passionate about dance and helping those less fortunate. In an effort to continue his wife’s legacy, Kin reached out to Bercovici and visited Gabriella Charter School, where he has headed the school’s strategic planning operations.

A cocktail reception begins at 5 p.m., followed by the program and performances. Tickets start at $300. Paramount Pictures Studios is located at 5555 Melrose Ave. For information, visit gabri.org.
