The Original Farmers Market, corner of Third and Fairfax, is partnering with The Grove to present an evening of music and an outdoor movie on Sunday, June 25.
The event is a prelude to the 35th annual “Outfest Los Angeles” LGBT film festival in July. From 6 to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy the disco sounds of Donna Summer tribute artist Raniere Martin on the Market Plaza. At 8:30 p.m., attendees are invited to a free sunset screening of the hit 1994 comedy “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” (rated R) on Gilmore Lane. The film, which won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design, focuses on individuals who helped introduce LGBT themes to mainstream audiences. Food and merchandise specials will be available.
The Original Farmers Market is located at 6333 W. Third Street. For information, call (323)933-9211, or visit farmersmarketla.com.
