Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested three suspects who allegedly burglarized a nail salon in the 300 block of S. Robertson Boulevard on April 22 and led police on a pursuit that ended in South Los Angeles.
Officers witnessed a burglary in progress at approximately 3:50 a.m. and attempted to arrest the suspects, who entered a vehicle and fled. The pursuit continued south before the suspects drove onto the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and continued east at a high rate of speed. The suspects exited the freeway and drove into South Los Angeles with the officers still in pursuit. The vehicle stopped in the 1000 block of Leighton Avenue, near Vermont Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, said Capt. Lincoln Hoshino, with the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Officers arrested two suspects at the scene. A third suspect hid inside a nearby residence but was later taken into custody by the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Special Weapons Team. The suspects were identified as Pedro Barragan, 29, and Jayvon Wright, 23, both of Los Angeles, and Alton Jones, 24, of Cerritos. The men were booked for commercial burglary.
