Volunteer signups are now available for “A Month of Big Sundays,” Big Sunday’s month-long community service and community-building program starting on May 1.

Big Sunday is a nonprofit organization that hosts a wide array of community building activities with no religious or political agenda. Big Sunday Weekend, a three-day festival of community service activities, has been the organization’s largest event each year. It expanded to a month-long event last year.

Every day throughout May, participants will be able to sign up for activities such as cooking and and serving dinner at Ronald McDonald House, preparing meals for clients of Project Angel Food, contributing to beautification projects at local schools and helping out at a dog sanctuary.
