The Grammy Museum will celebrate the life, music and charitable legacy of 13-time Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald through an exhibit entitled “Ella at 100: Celebrating the Artistry of Ella Fitzgerald,” on display through Sept. 10.
The exhibit opened on April 25, what would have been the late jazz icon’s 100th birthday. It will celebrate 100 years of Fitzgerald’s lasting legacy through rare recordings, photos and one-of-a-kind stage costumes.
Items on display will include Fitzgerald’s Grammy Awards, wardrobe pieces, photographs and performance footage from various stages of her career, and rare sheet music and records.
The Grammy Museum is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd. For information, visit grammymuseum.org.
