Chargers players and team administrators joined Pink’s Hot Dogs co-owners Richard and Gloria Pink, and Beverly Pink-Wolfe, to unveil the new Chargers Chili Cheese Dog. Chargers offensive lineman Chris Hairston (left), offensive guard Donavon Clark and wide receiver Tyrell Williams chomped on the Chargers Dogs with Richard Pink. Los Angeles Chargers president of business operations A.G. Spanos and president of football operations John Spanos also attended the unveiling.
“The Pink family, owner and operator of Pink’s Hot Dogs since 1939, is honored to welcome the Spanos family and the Los Angeles Chargers to L.A. by featuring on its menu a winning and delicious Chargers Chili Cheese,” Pink said.
He said the Pink family “loves the Chargers” and the partnership illustrates the pride the team has in its new home and the pride that Pink’s has in serving hot dogs in Los Angeles. Pinks Hot Dogs, located near La Brea and Melrose Avenues, is a Los Angeles landmark.
“I am really excited about these hot dogs, they taste so good,” Clark said. “I plan to make this a regular stop.”
