The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and Angel City Brewery will begin a “Citizen Science + Suds” series on Thursday, 6 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Angel City’s downtown location.
Each event will feature panel-led discussions about issues that can be influenced by community participation.
The opening event on Feb. 9 will include discussion about projects that impact conservation, urban planning and homelessness in Los Angeles.
The next event, on March 9, will focus on efforts that connect crowd-sourced data to marine conservation and social and environmental justice across the state.
The final event, on April 13, will look at projects with global reaches and impacts, such as civic science and online crowd-sourcing and international citizen science fly research.
