The Mid City West Community Council committees are open to stakeholders and the board encourages participation.

There are currently openings for two stakeholder members on the Council’s Communications and Outreach Committee, and one on the Council’s Planning and Land Use Committee.

The positions offer an opportunity to get involved with the Mid City West Community Council and serve the public. Many of those who have served on committees move on to positions on the board. Of the 35 board seats, seven are currently held by members who first served as stakeholder members of a committee.
