Live in the Lounge presents “A Night of Latin Jazz with Dr. Bobby Rodriguez” on Friday, Feb. 24 at The Ebell of Los Angeles.

Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Rodriguez is known as a jazz Latin music legend. He is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, entertainer and composer/arranger who has one gold and three platinum records. Rodriguez has performed with Quincy Jones, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock and Tina Turner, among other famous artists. He is also an author and an award-winning professor of music at UCLA, UC Irvine and Pasadena City College.

Doors open at 7:15; concert is at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be available. The Ebell of Los Angeles is located at 743 S.
