Drago Ristorante at the Petersen made its Los Angeles debut last week on Dec. 13. The restaurant, featuring Italian cuisine, is located at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

“To me, family and food are the two most important things in life,” said Celestino Drago, chef and restaurateur. “I’m honored to bring both to the Petersen Automotive Museum as we introduce Drago Ristorante and have the opportunity to continue providing Angelenos and visitors alike with a taste of our authentic Italian cuisine and Sicilian heritage.”

Felderman Keatinge + Associates developed the interior design of the space.

“Just as the cuisine of Drago melds together traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine,” said Stanley Felderman, one of the firm’s founders, “the design of the restaurant makes reference to the classic streamline modernism of the automobile and the contemporary need for comfort and intimacy.”

Drago Culinary Productions was appointed the official food and beverage partner to the Petersen Automotive Museum in fall 2015, and provides catering to corporate and social events at the museum.

“The Drago brothers are known throughout Los Angeles for their exquisite Italian cuisine, and we’re honored to have their latest restaurant in our museum,” said Terry Karges, executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum.

“We know having this restaurant available to our visitors will make their museum experience one they will never forget.”

Lunch hours are from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, and dinner hours are from 5:30 to 10 p.m., Sunday to Friday. Dinner hours extend to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
