Red O Santa Monica is offering happy hour specials all night on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. Enjoy $7 cocktails and house wine, and Moscow mules with Stoli vodka, fresh lime and ginger beer. Show patriotism with The American Spirit cocktail made with reposado tequila, Blue Curaçao, fresh lime juice, egg whites and a dash of bitters. Bottles of Coors Light, Pacifico and Victoria are $5. Three street tacos will be served: chicken tacos with tinga sauce, carnitas with cilantro lime yogurt and fried plantains, and braised short rib tacos with heirloom potato chips for $3 each. The classic tortilla chips and guacamole made with avocados, tomatoes, onions, fresh lime juice, cilantro and serrano chiles is also $5. Enjoy a blackened chicken quesadilla with caramelized onion, roasted poblano chile, pico de gallo and guacamole; and fresh corn and goat cheese tamales with tomatillo sauce, for $6. Wear Your ‘I Voted!’ sticker to HACHÉ LA

On Election Day, Nov. 8, dine at HACHÉ LA wearing an “I Voted!” sticker and receive a free order of Mick’s triple cooked fries. Diners can also enjoy a Silver Lake new age burger while watching Election Day coverage. The karma burger is topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and signature karma sauce. Another winner is the throwback Roaring Forties burger, topped with portobello mushroom, blue cheese, caramelized onions and horseradish. The Mediterranean burger is layered with spicy hummus, roasted red peppers and feta. The habanero burger is spicy with a four-chile mix, garlic mayo and queso fresco. Political parties welcome at Hyperion Public

Both Hyperion Public restaurants are hosting an Election Day party with “Super Tuesday” happy hour specials. Numerous dishes are priced under $6. Get a caucus together and order grilled cheese sandwiches, crispy shrimp tacos, chicken fries and Asian steak lettuce cups. Watch the vote count while indulging in blue state wings (spicy blueberry wings) and red state wings (medium or hot Buffalo wings). A true American favorite are sliders made with Angus beef, cheddar, pickled onion and sriracha aioli. Drink specials include canned PBR and Tecate for $3, Bud Light and Corona for $4, and all draft beers for $5. Well cocktails, and glasses of house red, white and sparkling wine are $6. Westwood Crest Theater election viewing

Baldoria is serving Beaujolais

Baldoria will serve Beaujolais on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at The Source Imports’ 10 Crus Tasting After Party, which celebrates the Beaujolais region in France.
