More than 5,000 students with disabilities will be stars for the day during performances on The Music Center Plaza on Friday, Oct. 21 at 9:30 a.m.
The students will perform at The Music Center’s 38th annual “Very Special Arts Festival,” which celebrates their artistic achievement. Continuous performances will be held on two outdoor stages. Students will also participate in performing arts and improvisation workshops. The festival will include a showcase of exotic animals, stilt walkers, mimes, a disco and more.
The “Very Special Arts Festival” was created in partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education. The Music Center is located at 135 N. Grand Ave. For information, visit www.themusiccenter.org.
