The Fillmore & Western Railway invites passengers to hop aboard a vintage train for its “Pumpkinliner” rides on weekends through the end of October.
Passengers can ride to a pumpkin patch to pick a jack o’lantern. The pumpkin patch features a jumper, vendors, carousel, hay rides, corn maze, food and family activities. The trains depart at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Adult tickets are $22; $15 for children 4-12; $10 for children 2-3; and free for infants under 2.
The Fillmore & Western Railway is also holding its “Zombie Hunter Paintball Trains” on weekends through Oct. 30. Passengers can shoot “zombies” near the tracks with paintball guns fastened to the rail cars. Shooters must be 10 or older. The trains depart at 5 and 7:30 p.m. The “Zombie Hunter Paintball Train” is $49 for shooters, $25 for the ride only and passengers under 10 years old.
Passengers seeking a “haunting” experience are invited to the “Haunted Hayride” on Saturday, Oct. 22 departing at 6:45 p.m. Hop aboard for a ride to “Ichabog,” where guests will enjoy a barbecue followed by a hayride. Tickets are $59.
