New students at Immaculate Heart Middle School were greeted on Sept. 2 by eighth grade officers serving on the student council. The student council organizes activities throughout the year, starting with a New Student Orientation and annual Welcome Day to launch the school year. Immaculate Heart Middle School recently welcomed 83 new students, including 69 sixth graders from 36 elementary schools throughout the Los Angeles area. Founded in 1906, Immaculate Heart educates young women in the sixth through 12th grades.
